Post XL 4X2 5-speeds can have a tach

I was checking out a row of brand new F-150s on a dealer lot today and there was an XL 4X2 with a 5-speed and an in-dash tach. Window sticker price of the tach as a stand-alone option was $79 Canadian. Probably around $50 US. It appears they just install the XLT gauge cluster.

If you're ordering a 5-speed XL, you might appreciate this little option so you know what your revs are when you shift (doesn't much matter with an automatic).

Count on the sales people not knowing anything about this option, by the way, since it doesn't appear in the sales brochure. However, it's on the F-150 option sheets that come in the product binder that all sales people get. I saw it there for a fact.

Black 2000 SC short-box XLT. 4.2V-6, 5-speed, 3.55 limited-slip. CD, remote entry, factory side steps, FORD box liner.

My third F-series: '73 F-100, '98 F-150 and '00 F-150. GREAT trucks!
