Go with a Superchips computer chip. I installed one an the difference is night and day.
Check out the computerchips, in the aftermarket section and read up on what others have to say

Exclamation

You must have an AOD then, because the "E" in E40D stands for Electric. Electronic 4spd Over Drive.

The E40d has selections OD,2,1 and a cancel switch on the dash for your 91. The AOD would have OD,d,1. The AOd has a really tall OD gear, so a shift kit really helps it! Otherwise the chip helps the E40d out a bunch!

pastmaster, according to mike troyer, on the 91`s the e4od is "electronically" controlled not "computer" controlled. yes, the cancel switch is on the dash. again.according to mike a very few 92`s are computer controlled and from then on all are.
thanks for your input!!!!
