The BE kit has 5 levels of firmness to choose from. There are another group of mods that they give A, B, C type levels. The instructions give you warnings that shifts can be excessively harsh and that the holes you drill are irreversible. My point was that these are over exaggerated. I set mine up on "level 4" and did all the other mods on "Supercharger". I also did the OD mods that they only recommend for supercharged vehicles as well. The result is firmed up shifts under light throttle that aren't harsh. The more gas you give, the harder it shifts. Moderate throttle is very firm, but not excessive. WOT shifts lay rubber; extremely firm. These results are with a standard Superchip program combined. I took the chip out and tested it; this really softened things up. I like hard shifts and I'm glad I didn't wuss out after the warnings. It was a one time job this way. I didn't want to keep yanking it all apart firming it up level by level.
yeah i definately hear ya there!! i hate to do things twice ..but after reading what neal posted about the saftey bypass on the trans-go i went with that one instead..i hope i just don't snap any thing now with the 20's behind me, truck doesn't like to spin those puppies..
