finding out which transmission I have
I feel dumb asking this question. How do I find out which transmission I have? I have a 2000 XLT Sport 4x4 with a 5.4L. I have 31000 miles on it and it needs an ATF change. I plan on doing it myself and read through the instructions.

There is a blue sticker somewhere inside the driver's door opening. It might be on the door, or on the frame.
Under the word TRANS there will be an "E" if you have a 4R100, and a "U" if you have the 4R70W. I don't know the code if you have a manual.
