As I stated before I'm not a huge car guy so I dont really know how else to explain it.. my dad thinks it's an electrical issue. What electrical components have to do with drive?

If it's electrical, it SHOULD have codes.

Absolutely NOTHING. There is NOTHING electrical that can cause it to not go into a forward gear. It either doesn't have enough fluid or something mechanical is wrong inside the transmission. You can screw around with electrical checks for weeks, but you will not fix it that way.

I missed that. That allows me to narrow it down a bit. The forward clutch is where to look for the failure. Take the trans out and tear it down, I'll bet there is a problem in the forward clutch.

Where did you buy this remanufactured transmission? Who was the builder?

UPDATE! Problem solved! Turns out the issue was that in doing a majority of the work in the middle of the night with minimal lighting, I brilliantly overfilled the transmission! Upon doing some research, I came to realize it was causing the transmission to slip out of gear when in drive. Sucked out the excess fluid, let it all circulate and run through all the gears and everything ran properly. Test driving was a success and transmission shifted very smoothly every gear! Thank you all for all your advice in trying to help me resolve this issue! It's very much appreciated!
