Assuming you have a 5.0l, yes it will work as long as the donor transmission is from a 5.0l. Pretty sure the 4.6 has a different bellhousing.

Moved this to Transmissions, because I think you may get better help here.

Is there going to issue with shifting because of the ecm or anything like that?

That's what we need one of the transmission experts for. All I can tell you is the 5.0 and 4.2 V6 have the same bellhousing pattern, the 4.6 and 5.4 Tritons are different. Also, RWD and 4WD transmissions are not interchangeable.

Hopefully they will chime in. I'm hoping to go trans shopping at the junkyard this weekend.

As long as the main case connector is white like yours.

You can use a 96-97 4r70w with a 95 and older computer, but not the other way around. The newer TCC solenoid is backwards compatible. The older TCC will draw too much current and burn up the newer computers.

It will bolt to the engine, that's about it. It's longer, would need a new driveshaft. Electronics are different, you would need a different computer and wiring harness

Should be a direct swap, as long as they are both the same drive system (2wd or 4wd).

The 95 e150 is a aodew and the tail shaft looks different. I know the newer year 4.6l are different bolt pattern, are all 4.6l the same pattern say from a 95?

There is no "aodew" - there was the AODE and there was the 4R70W. There was also the E4OD.

I don't think a van transmission will fit, sorry, I misread your post.

You need a 4R70W out of a 94-96 2wd F150 with a 5.0.
