9 Pin to 7 Pin transmission wire conversion Repin
I have a 1997 F150 and I put a 99 transmission in. My original pin has a count of 9 and the new one has a count of 7. I have been reading about a wire conversion from 9 to 7. Does anyone have information on this or a diagram?
I see that you can do the swap with the internal harness (repin) but wouldn't be easy to buy and external harness and do the cross connection there? Also what is really throwing me off is that my original trans tag matches a 99 f150. The internal wire harness on that trans is wired and not a circuit board. Funny thing is they didnt use wired wire harnesses in 99, only 97.
