I think it's still a vacuum activated system for the front axle no matter if it's a lever shifted T case or the electric shifted T case?

So, it might be a vacuum leak to the front axle connect?

I had a 97 F150 4x4 with the electric shift, but it still had vacuum lines going to the front axle.

The only difference was the electric motor to shift the T case instead of a manual lever..

Good luck!

Mitch
