4R75E and 4R100 compatibility

I have a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT (F-150) and the transmission went out on it. The shop was trying to charge me $2100 to $2600 to repair it. I don't have that kind of money. So, after talking to my neighbor, I bought a used transmission from his friend. It ended up being the wrong tranny and got a another one from a pick and pull junkyard. It looks pretty new and it looked just like mine. Then I noticed after I bought it,that it had 1 less sensor on the side than my original transmission. With even having that one less sensor, am I still able to use that tranny or modify it to work for my truck or do I need to scrap it and try again?

You have to have that 2nd sensor. You'll be stuck in limp mode otherwise.
