4r75e vs 4r75w

My transmission is going out, lower gears are slipping terribly, in my 2007 4x4 f-150. I am looking into reman transmissions, but they designate them all as 4r75w. I have been told I have a 4r75e. Will there be any issue with using a 4r75w?

If it's listed as being compatible with a 2007 4x4 with your engine, it will work.

The "designations" are all over the place. Don't sweat the "w" or "e" thing. The year range and whether it bolts up to your engine is what matters most.
