My nephew in hood River Oregon is having transmission problems, pick-n-pull is having half off this weekend he has a 1999 pick n pull has 97s,98,s 2000 and 2001, will any of these work and if so what would he have to do to make hem work if not plug and play, I searched ebay and found most of these ford truck transmissions only fit 1 year(direct fit) any help would be appreciated, is a standard swap doable? if so same questions. thank you. he likes his truck but he owes way more than it is worth need to help him keep it going, he is also saying he has a miss on 2 cylinders he is around 100 miles from me and I havent seen the truck Im guessing coil packs or plugs also I think he said he has 200,000 plus on this truck. Either the 00 or 01 as long as it's from a 4x4 with a 4.6 or 5.4
