part num for trans aux cooler inlet tube on '98 4R70W in F250
I had to pull the radiator in my 1998 F-250 4WD in order to get the engine out. The connector going from the radiator to the auxiliary transmission cooler was in such bad shape that I ended up needing to cut the tube to get it out. Now that I'm ready to replace the auxiliary transmission cooler inlet tube I can't seem to find a part number anywhere.
The aux cooler ends up going to a 4R70W.
The service manual is kind enough to not mention the part number.
Thanks,
Steve

I suspect it may be F75Z-7C410-EA, and that the Dorman 624-222 part may fit it. I'm just a bit hesitant because it doesn't really look the same as the service manual diagram and they call it the "auxiliary cooler outlet tube" instead of "auxiliary cooler inlet tube", like in the service manual. They do note "driver side" though ... I assume with respect to the 7A095 fluid cooler, which would be the correct port. I've also seen another description that says:
F75Z-7C410-EA
Tube - Oil Cooler
Tube - 7A095 to lower radiator fitting, 4R70W, with auxiliary cooler, with 5/16" threaded fittings on both ends of line, BEFORE 6/13/00
and the lower fitting is the one the service manual shows it being connected to

I asked for clarification in another thread and didn't get an answer - I believe this is a F-250 LD, not a Super Duty. A 4.6 and 4R70W was indeed standard in that, with the 5.4 and E4OD/4R100 as options. It was replaced with the F-150 7700 package when the new body style Super Duty came out.
