No reverse transmission

No reverse transmission
I have 2wd 2006 ford f150. A lot of snow came down last night. Put truck in reverse and went back twenty feet got stuck. Lot of snow build up under truck and trams fluid was low. So I have topped it up. Un stuck my truck but no reverse any ideas?

BTW - jes' how long was ye tranny low on fluid ye reckon? That in and of itself ain't real good fer it.
