After getting stuck in the blizzard this weekend, I tried rocking my 2004 F150 out of some snow. I got a Transmission something warning and engine in failsafe mode indicators on the dash. I shut it down for the night, and when I tried it again yesterday, I had no reverse, or 4WD. I got it unstuck, and drove 50 miles home with no indications, but still no reverse or 4WD. Any Ideas???

 

sounds like a broken servo clip...

im not an expert in the transmission area, but ive seen a handfull with that symptom and had that issue.
