2005 2X4 4.6L slipping 1st gear

I need advice. My 2005 2X4 4.6L 120,000K tranny is going out. I think I have the 4R70E and it's slipping in first gear.

Tried flushing, changed plugs didn't help. I did not change the COPs.

Is this the torque converter, pump or clutches? Can it be repaired?

Did you also post this on RV.NET? The question looks identical. If so, it's your torque converter locking. If you didn't post this there, then all I can tell you is that with the very vague description you have here you need a rebuild.

All you have said here is that your trans is out. The only fix for that is rebuild or replace.

No I didn't post on RV.NET Here's a little more info...

Interesting you mentioned TC locking. From a stand still, the truck moves but the engine starts to rev, then it shifts and the engine bogs down to 1200 rpm, like its in 3rd or 4th, then revs, then shifts to second and then its fine through 3rd, and then the TC locks for OD.

I know all this sounds dumb, but the shifting is smooth, no klunks. It seems like its slipping in low.

Thanks for the input

It's going to need someone with a high end scan tool to read data live and see what's happening.
