Down shift vibration

Hi guys. Recently I have been having a issue with what I assume is my transmission. I drive a 2007 fx4 Screw with the 5.7.

When I am on the highway and go to pass someone or press down on the gas a little to hard, as soon as my transmission down shifts, I get a vibration like the gears are slipping, etc. Its almost like I drove on a rumble strip for a second.

It only happens on the highway from 4 to 3 (I think that's it). What do you guys think the problem is?

All help is appreciated. I searches a little on the forums, but was looking for something a little more specific.

Thank you in advance!

Old transmission fluid can cause this. It's probably the torque converter clutch shuddering. Replacing the fluid can often fix this.

As promised to another member for helping me with this issue, I wanted to share my fix with you guys.

The issue turned out to be that the #1 coil pack was going and misfiring. Replaced it and did all my plugs at the same time and everything seems good now.

I will follow up if there are anymore issues.
