1995 f-150 Automatic Transquestion

Im looking at a truck, a 95 Ford F-150 with 205k miles. It has a Auto Transmission and a 5.0 engine. My question is, if anone can tell me, is where is the dipstick for the transmission SUPPOSED to be at? I know a new tranny has just been put in it, but When I checked the transmission fluid, the stick for it was on the passenger side under the heatercore stuff. Is this where it's SUPPOSED to be at?

I guess im just worried that the transmission bolted up ok, but isnt really FOR the Ford F150, things like that tend to make me nervous.

Ill only use the truck to pull a camping trailer a few times a year for around trip total of less than 20 miles each time I use it.

any help would be appreciated.

he is a link to the truck itself if that helps.
