Truck rolls back on slight incline

Alright, not too sure what this would be but here's the story.

I have a 1998 F150 SuperCab with the 4.6L V8. I think I have the e4od transmission, and I have no idea if it has ever been replaced. The truck has 202,000 miles on it.

I am wondering if the rolling down such a slight slope in drive is a foreshadow for my tranny going out?

Thanks to all

You mean when you put the truck in park?

You have a 4R70W transmission.

The rolling is from the design of the torque converter. It's a higher stall converter which doesn't have much force when the engine is at idle speed, so it allows the truck to roll back.

Alright, just making sure.

My car freak friend was riding with me, and said that the roll back could be that it's going out.

Thanks a bunch Mark.

Oh and no, I meant in drive.
