Trans heater?

All right here goes 1st post.

Bought a new to me 02 F150 screw a few weeks ago. So far, a pretty decent truck.

Does the 2002 F150 Screw have an optional transmission heater? Reason being is I found a cord spliced into the engine block heater cord (factory installed block heater and factory spliced) This cord runs to the passenger side of the truck with a flat 3-pin connector, with a "T" stamped on the plug. It isnt connected to anything, and I cant find the female side of the connection. If anyone could help me I would really love it.

Thanks!
R-

I've never heard of a transmission heater. If it has one somebody rigged it up. It didn't come from Ford.

There is a transmission blanket I have heard on. Search on that. I thought I read it was not a good idea for a heater on an Allison. Might search for that as well.
