Where can I buy a motorcraft transmission filter and pan gasket. for my 2005 f150 lariat. I am trying to avoid the dealer. part numbers would be great to. Thanks. Bob.

 

Do not under any circumstances replace the factory pan gasket on these transmissions ever. That factory gasket is about the best gasket known to man and is re-usable for the life of... Well, pretty much it's good until the end of the world, be that in 2012 or 2000012.

Oh, and if anyone ever does decide to replace their factory gasket on one of these transmissions. Please send the old one to me. I will find a good home for it.
