!987 f150 wont go into overdrive.
I have a 1987 F150 XLT Lariat, unsure of transmission, on the dash it says
overdrive drive 1. For the gears. It will shift from 1 to drive, but it wont go into overdrive. I was told it might be a solenoid?? The fluid level is fine. Maybe just needs servicing.
