Gasket between trans and trans spacer leaking

So the gasket between the transmission and the spacer after the transmission before the transfer case is leaking. Is it as simple as unbolting the spacer and putting in a new gasket? Or is there anything else I have to worry about (ie. seals on the output shaft, barrings, etc that will have to be replaced from removing the transfer case and spacer besides the two gaskets on each side of the spacer). Thanks

Which gasket is leaking, the one at the transmission or the one at the transfer case?

The spacer is called an extension housing BTW.

Thanks for the right name, I know I read it somewhere but couldn't think of the name.

It is between the extension housing and the transmission. If I unbolt the extension housing (after removing transfer case) will It just slide off and I pop on a new gasket, or is their a lot more to it? Are their any other wear parts I should replace while I have the transfer case and extension housing off?

You will have to get the transfer case out of the way and then there are 6 bolts that hold the extension housing on. Undo those then tap it with a rubber mallet and it should fall off. You are going to need about 6in clearance behind it to drop it because it has to clear the output shaft.

Super easy job with the t-case out of the way.
