Swap Computer for 2001 transmission
Just got a 2003 Crown Vic Police transmission to put into my 2000 F150. And on http://www.p71interceptor.com/tranny...vic/index.html it states you may have to recalibrate the computer or alter the valve body because the transmissions were changed 01-03. The OD stuff was changed and a few other things.
If it does not work with the f150 computer can't I just get a 2003 Crown Vic computer and swap it with mine wouldn't that work with everything and the gauges?
I already have a 2002 Crown Vic police engine in.

It should work just fine.
Trying to put that other computer in that vehicle will cost you more than buying a super high performance transmission and converter and having it installed at about the most expensive place you can find by the way.
