09 shifting issues

i have a 2009 f150 fx4...seems to drive pretty smooth most of the time. But whenever i come to a dead stop, then take off the shifting from frist to second gear will shift really bad sometimes. It almost feels as though the transmission is gonna fall out, like it engages late or something. But other times it will shift fine. I have let the truck warm up, but it does this regardless if the truck is warm or cold. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

The truck has to go into the shop for a window replacement so im going to have them check out the tranny too. I want this documented in case something happeneds in the future to cover myself

I have a 05 and have the same problem as my friend in his 02 I recently just purchased my truck so I took it back to the lot and let the mechanic look at it, I want to say he told me that all fords will do that, I think he mentioned it being a torque converter this was about a month ago so I'm not a 100% if thats right, but I'm no mechanic. But its not the transmission. Chevrolete's are programmed from a computer, and the fords do this for some other reason That Im not sure of. I want to say its because of gas milage and Transmission protection. But have you ever felt the hard bump, after you let off on the gas? My truck usually does it when I'm on the interstate and slow down to hit the exit ramp and then as I hit it give it gas, thats when I usually feel a big Bump. But then again Im no mechanic. Any one have an opinion on what I posted about the torque converter?

It is not the torque converter, go back to Ford and see iof they have any TSBs out related to shifting. My 07 Expedition shifted wierd going from first to second, took it in and they reflashed the computer. Problem solved.
