here are the part numbers for both the 1-2 accumulator.

I already have a updated valve that was put in when the tranny was built.

Pink upper spring part# F4UZ-7F284-A

Brown lower spring part# F75Z-7F284-BA

Do you have the # for the updated valve and cap? My dealer is saying that there is a upper and 2 lowers (inner and outer)?

Some years had a inner and outer lower. my 2000 only showed one lower.

I don't have the updated valve Part number although I am sure it's in another thread somewhere. you won't need a new cap.

You only need some tranny fluid, the upper and lower springs and the updated valve.

I'll see what I can find....

I am just going to replace everything while I'm in there. Im just curious if my dealer will give me the updated valve....?

There is only one part available for each of whatyou need. When they update they supercede to the new part number. So, no worries.

Hey I'm new here and was wondering if this could be the issue with my e40d in my 97? I would have made my own thread but didnt want to create " another thread" and get bashed for being a noob. Nice site.
