Distributor? What year truck are you talking about and what engine does it have?

A turbine speed sensor is in the transmission and TCC does indeed stand for torque converter clutch solenoid. Which is in the transmission as well.

I have a mazda 626 with cd4e trannny having trouble. Codes read solenoid a solenoid b and tcc also p1788 I think this is transmission control? my question is if the solenoids are bad will this cause the other to miss read. I do not knqw a lot about trannys but I think I can change the solenoid block my self, also is it that big of a deal to change the valve bodly,I am asking can I do this with out taking out the tranny? Also, is it as simple as un bolting it and bolting it back.

It's kind of a Ford tranny. Ford and Mazda used it a lot, I don't know who actually designed the pile but they should be shot. IMHO To answer some of your questions, you can change the solenoid pack and/or valvebody with the trans in the car. It isn't easy or fun since the pan is on the front instead of the bottom. I don't remember if you can change the solenoid pack without pulling the valvebody, I think there's something strange about that setup, just can't remember. I believe the turbine speed sensor is in the pump housing. You can get to that by pulling the splash shield in the driver side wheelwell. Just my opinion: you would probably be better off taking the car to a shop that is familiar with these transmissions. Good luck.

I just assumed you were asking about an F-150 since this forum is for those. How could I have known any better. That's my point.

You are going to find that people here definitely want to help you. This site is great fromthat. Not a bunch of awesome mind readers around though, so giving the info about what vehicle and related part you are trying to help with will bring out the people that know what they are talking about when it comes to what you need help with.

thanx RayD for your help the solenoid block can be removed with 2 or 3 bolts so iam told. You are right it is a pain to change valve body but I wasd told it can be done, take the radiator out, I taik to someone that sold "Transgo jr kit" gave me a gentlemen phone number and he was more then happy to talk to me for quite some time. We tkink it is a pressure problem so I am going to check it frist. Again thanx Darrin ahd Ray
