But by the way can someone tell me if its necessary to shim? I ordered it for 8.8 31 spline it should be direct fit!?!?
I used my stock shims and spacers and everything end up ok.

I would just start with the stockers and see how the backlash and pattern end up.

If it's off then you will have to get new spacers or shims.

when a customer supplies parts, you are literally taking the money right out of his hands. He still has to spend the same amount of time and effort, but now will make less money. Many shops simply wont do it, not worth it. You supply your part, you install. If you got the parts wrong, something isn't right, its now on them to fix your mistake. Its just a hassle . Here, we will install a customer supplied part, but we make them sign a "void warranty" paper, to remove our liability, and then we bump up our labor rates to make the money back anyways.

Personally, I wouldn't be working with a guy who has a limited ability to install anything. Means he isn't setup to do it right, means I would take business elsewhere. Maybe you can return your parts, get a refund, then go to the other shop and order up what you want ? Or, you can take your parts and keep calling around to find a shop. They are out there, just gotta find em.

Yeah I kinda figured that out but around here there isn't even enough population to start complaining about customer supplied parts...Seriously things would be way more easy if I was not in N.-B. Canada lol!!!I gotta do with whats around!
