Unhappy Torque Converter Problem??

I was going up a hill and remembed reading that if you touch your brakes while the torque converters locked, it will unlock. But i tried several times and nothing happened... Whats Up??

It also wont unlock when going uphill unless you give it more than half throttle... and once in a while when im backing out of my driveway, as i pull off the torque converter locks up in 1st but then i give a little more gas and it unlocks....

Im pretty sure what im feeling is the torque converter. I had the tranny flushed and filter changed about 2 months ago.

Am I seeing the start of a very $$$$$ problem?

Tapping the brake to unlock the torque converter only works at less than 10% throttle. If you are over 10% throttle the PCM ignores the brake input. It sounds like everything is working as designed.
