^^ (love that name BTW) it looks, although I have not owned one personally, that B&M has the same plates (see the mounts sticking up) but they took a picture of the other side, so it would be far less visible. But reading both, the bigger B&M is bigger and the fan flows more air. Its a toss up.

nope, I have the itty bitty 4.6 L so I am mated to the older 4R70W Tranny.

Does anyone know is the IRS rebate is for $75,000 total income or adjusted gross income? With my write-offs, my taxable income fell below $75K. If I get a little change from Uncle Sam in a couple of months, then I can do the trans cooler, deeper pan, and a differential cover.
I believe it total income, but don't quote me on it.

Last month, I paid off my truck. This month, there was no truck payment. I maybe just getting carried away with the glee of having the extra money, and looking for ways to spend it.
These fans are suppose to kick in and keep the temp below 180 or 190, because you don't want the temp to go above 200. I looked at my ScanGauge today when I was driving, and the transmission fluid temperature read at around 160 degrees. I think my daily driving habits keep me well below the temperatures that I need to worry about.
I was actually considering buying the rear differential cover, transmission pan, and cooler. But now that I think about, the truck barely has 6,000 miles, and just a few months ago, I replaced the factory filled fluids with Royal Purple. I may still pick up the cooler, then top it off with a few quarts of Royal Purple. But I'll definitely wait for my next transmission service at 30,000 miles before I replace the OEM pan with an aftermarket. That way, since they are already dropping the pan, they could just go ahead and bolt the new one up to it. That means that I probably won't do the differential cover until 100,000 miles, since Ford feels that the gear oil is good for life.
Any opinions as to why I shouldn't wait for 30,000 miles? Any benefits to adding the trans cooler and the larger pan now?

You don't need to do a full fluid flush when you drop your pan. You will lose some fluid, but most actually stays up in your tranny (torque converter and valve body). You could drop the factory pan, add the Mag-hytech. Then while your under there, add the cooler. Then top off off.
For the rear end, I HIGHLY suggest NOT waiting till 100k or anywhere near. In fact, the first thing I did when I got mine, brought it to the shop, dropped out the rear fluid and filled with SWEPCO.

Why are you looking at the cooler ? Do you tow/heavy off road often ? If not, the two pans would be enough for ya IMO.

Ya that sounds about right. You could try just doing the pan for right now, then add the cooler later down the road if your still seeing warmer temps. Just an idea.
No, Mag Hytech pans and covers come with a built in O-Ring type seal. Dip your finger in the oil and put a nice coat over the seal (just to lube it up, help prevents and accidental tear) then bolt it up.
Remember, when topping it off, you want to make sure the dipstick reads full, then start it up and allow it to run a minute. While its running, check the fluid again. Add as needed.

This is a Ford Racing pan with the drain plug. The drain plug was what I actually wanted so that I can drain the fluids easily without having to drop the pan.

How much is that pan going to run you ? And the Mag has a drain plug (just so ya know) but that does look pretty sweet.

Not to rain on your parade, but you should stay away from chrome...especially if it doesn't increase the fluid capacity at all. Chrome is the absolute worst heat sinc in the world...it doesn't dissipate heat at all. Mag pans are expensive but X superior in every way.
