Lol, well I figured that's what it did, but I didn't know what it was called and whether or not the fluid was ATF that circulated with the Transmission fluid. What's it take gear oil like the differential?

well if your unlucky like me, it does share atf with the trans. my seals arent any good so the trans seems to slowly fill the transfercase.

lol, I'm putting amsoil ATF in my tranny like Jbrew suggested. What would you reccomend for the front and rear differentials and for the transfer case?

I went w/Amsoil on everything in drive train (even Amsoil TEFLON grease slicked on the spline shaft) - No vibration @ 65MPH in 4WD on the E-way - The rear end is Amsoiled - The front Piig is Royal Purple (couldn't get Amsoil for that at the time). Amsoil in the Trans /Tcase (2 quarts) and Power steering (not one noise in the PS in two years)

Hope the bank account is stocked up

You DO get what you pay for here and it can save your a$$ in repairs down the road. My trans was very hurt before adding this kit and Amsoil 2 years ago. Runs and drives like new still - Doesn't slipp and hits every gear without a pause or hanging.

That's considered and illegal operation that will compromise a good rear end.

You might as well use maple syrup - because that oil doesn't even make the grade. That's way out ..

O - Then I stand corrected - I don't know what the hell goes in there now - It's not factory, it's an after market install, so it's whatever the manufacturer suggests for the third member in your situation.

I personally have done a Jmod on my truck (2003), and just did a jmod on a 2005 5.4 4R75E , the newer trans have electronic shifting even though its the same internals. It is noticeble but not that noticeble of a difference.

Ill make a video of it soon

i convinced myself the reason i had problems was a ****ty locker inside my open carrier that vibrated the ring gear bolts out, causing damage to the threads on their way out. so even though i replaced the bolts, the ring gear itself was worthless. in turn the pinion was probably fractured from the impacts of trying to shear those bolts.

again, all speculation.
