what do you think?
I have a 05 5.4l with 34,700 on it. For awhile now I have been noticing a large shutter (don’t know if that’s the word I am looking for) when it shifts anywhere over half throttle. Also (one thing I could find on here) was the squeak at WOT when shifting which seems to be the serpentine belt. So I guess what I am asking is should I be showing/asking the dealership about this or is this normal I am still under warranty but not for long...
Thanks ahead of time.

The 'shudder' may be nothing. Actually I bet it's nothing if the truck seems to buck right after the shift.
Also, that is your belt slipping. As said above a Goodyear Gatorback belt is much better than the stocker. I still slip a Gatorback, but mine shifts pretty hard. LOL

I also have a 05 5.4l, but with roughly 9K on it. Mine has been shifting erratically for the last few thousand miles, especially during light to moderate acceleration from a stop. It also sometimes hesitates, and has nearly caused several accidents when I was trying ot merge into traffic from a speed of 15-25 MPH.
It isn't clear to me whether these are two separate issues, or all from the same cause. I finally took it in for warranty service for the first time yesterday. My dealer confirmed today that there's something wrong with the tranny, and said the truck is now in line for major transmisison repair. I think that means they're pulling it out.
Given the cost of this type of work, I suggest you don't waste any time getting your dealer to look at it.
