Yup, should be identicle setup to yer '97's 4R70w, but I haven't crawled under one to personally check.
deapee, don't think the console shifter is available with an XL.

After driving my new 07 for almost a week now I drove my 97 today and "DAYUM",what a difference between the two! My 97 feels like a POS compared to my 07.
