No, you need a 4 stud e40d converter. Aod converters had the wrong spline count, stack height, twin input shafts, and they did not have a lockup clutch.

Acually another question about that is, my E4OD has a smaller pan than others I've seen, so there must be two different types of trannys in these trucks, but do both TCs match each other?

There are old style and new style pans but they can be interchanged with the right filter. If the converter has 4 short studs it will work but you really want one with straight fin angle and 4 short studs. One with rectangluar lugs is best because it would have the updated lockup piston inside it.

I just did some reading and apparently this truck will most likely have a 4R70W trans and not a E4OD.... The 4R70W has a pan length of just under 15 inches witch the E4OD has a Pan length of 20 inches, is this right? and will both TCs be the same?? The article I read is at http://www.baumannengineering.com/e4odinf.htm any help would be great as I would like to have this thing replaced this week

No you need a converter from a transmission that is the same.
