the O/D OFF light is blinking & it seems that the trans is slipping. I was wondering if any body has had this problem? If so, I need some suggestions on a solution.

 

A flashing OD light means there is a code stored. You need someone with a scan tool to read the code so that you can find and fix the problem. Without the code all you can do is buy parts and install them until you stumble on the problem.
