Question clutch change?

Hello, I have a 89 Lariat 2 WD manual trans and it has 323,000 miles on the truck.. I have been experienceing changes in my trans particularly the clutch pedal. I have noticed it is grabbing much lower to the floor all the time and now it is grabbing way too close to the floor... I fear my clutch needs replacing... Can anyone confirm my suspicions? Because I have never had a vehicle wear out on me before... I am very careful with clutches but this vehicle was bought used recently...

If it is a clutch that needs replacing is it something I could do myself with a little knowledge and a clutch? or is it much more complicated? If anyone has done this could you give me a run down on what needs to be done? I would very much appreciate it..

Clutch change details?

I am wondering what will it take to actually change a clutch? Can anyone shed some light on this?

problem solved

It turned out to be air in the hydraulics which the trans place fixed for free... That was a relief... Thanks for your input though...
