Towing with Leveling Kit

I realize this is an older thread but I have avalid question concerning the 2.5" lift.
My truck is a 2005 F-150 with a tow package. I have the extra leaf springs in the back along with 3.73 gears, tranny cooler and the 5.4L engine. My trailor is 6500lbs dry. I dont have much of an issue pulling it, but if the 2.5" lift kit will make it unsafe then I'm sending it back.
You guys think I'm ok with mt truck? Or maybe I should send it back? Any advice is greatly appriciated!

I I would say it is safe, but if u will be impressed with the way it pulls is another story. Do you also have oversize tires? I have 3.55 gears and 285/70/17 tires and I feel safe. I have airbags which keep me level. I also live in Idaho which is fairly mountainous and my setup has been doing fine with the fairly steep grades. I just keep it around 55 or so and the od off and haven't had any issues. Tt weighs about 5000 loaded with 800 pounds of toys in the bed.

I wouldn't be concerned with it being a safety issue. Especially since u have aal. As long as you aren't way nose high with headlights pointing to the sky, I would consider it safe. If u have been pulling it fine I wouldn't be concerned. If anything, just go another notch on your weight distributing hitch. I added air bags for 200 to help keep it level.
