Oh Hell Ya!
Well I was off on my guess for towing the FEMA trailer from AR through Branson - drove around there a bit seeing the sites to Bennett Springs State Park, MO and back then hitting a few more sites in Branson. 11.735 to be exact. Road our bikes while we were at the park. From Springfield to the Lebanon exit it towed in 6th most of the way minus the hills that we hit.
I love this truck. Trailer as well, but the truck ROCKS!
Talking to the other campers, one had one like mine but with the long bed running the 5.0 and his trailer weighs more. He says he is getting close to 10.5 as an average for most of his trips. Several had the EBs and were running better on the mpg but some were worse as they were towing monsters. There were a hell of a lot of diesels... and several 5.4s... Some of the 5.4s were towing some serious trailers... The amount of 5th wheels were nuts, probably a 3 to 1 ratio between 5th wheels and bumper pulls.

Am I the first tractor??

It's our 1960 Ford 901 (971) Diesel, Select-O-Speed, Rowcrop tractor on an 18' car hauler. Total GVW: about 6000 pounds with front loader. Actually tows pretty good, even without brakes. Currently looking for a 20' trailer, with brakes, so we can haul it, and our bush hog.

So here they are as they sat in March. It's Aug 25th. and I'm already gearing up for deer hunting season. The truck now has '13 HID headlights and an SCT Livewire. The trailer is a 7x14 V-nose Homesteader Challenger. I had it custom built to haul the Ranger HD in. It's dry weight is 2,020 lbs.. Loaded with the Ranger I'm at about 3,500-3,600 lbs.. Worst MPG has been around 9.6 mpg.. Best has been around 13 mpg.. That's combined on flat and mountainous roads on a 265 mile trip. On the Ranger I replaced the Rigid Dually Amber driving lights that were on the brushguard with a set of Rigid 6" combo LED's. Big difference. Next will be wipers. Didn't realize how much I needed them until the snow hit. And chains. I was completely sideways in the Ranger going up a 9% lane in about 4" of icy snow. Scarry!

My new 2012 F150 and the 2012 Jayco Jay Flight 26BH.
Since Webshots bit the dust, here's my older 2010 F150 with my older 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 19BH.
BTW, every trip I've taken so far has been between 10.5 mpg and 11.0 mpg. That's great pulling this huge wind sale. My older 2008 Ford Sport Trac V8 4.6L 6 speed auto truck pulling my older 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 2008 only got around 8.5 - 9.0 mpg. Now I have bigger trailer, bigger truck, greater mileage.
