Troyer cooler installation

I just installed a Troyer trans cooler with the fan. I mounted it in front of the a/c condenser as a puller. I reversed the mounting brackets and added a 3/4" spacer to each mount to keep the back of the fan motor off the condenser coil. I did this to put the cooler directly in air flow and I think the fan works better as a puller, as intended. Does anyone see any potential problems with this install? My concern is that approx. 36 sq" of condenser coil is blocked.
Thanks for any feedback,
Tom

I posted this in "Transmissions" and got nothing. I haven't read any post where someone has mounted a Troyer cooler this way and was looking for other's opinion. However, from what I've read this seemed like the optimal installation, but I'm concerned about how this may effect the efficiency of the a/c condenser.
