Chev 1/2 ton box

I was at a hockey game last night when they drove a Chevy 1/2 ton on the ice to throw t-shirts, etc. up to the fans. The Mascot was jumping up and down in the box and it had to be moving up and down about a foot. I know our trucks are not that soft. I can see why Chevy's can't carry much weight. If they were using that truck to make sales, it sure wouldn't work for me.

You'd be suprised how soft the rear F150 springs are. I'm not pleased with them at all on my truck. A set of Ranger aluminum wheels and a set of 235/75/15s in the back is making it squat. Granted when I had the TSLs in the back it would sqaut too, but thats cause I had 300lbs of tire in the bed.

i had a cut up long box off my 72 gmc in the back of my truck with a toolbox that goes from bedside to bedside (can;t remember proper word) and my toppper this summer. truck didn't even settle. it has an overload leaf but it wasn't even close to being used. it used to be a farm truck and has a 10000 lbs bumper on the back. did ford have a heavy duty suspension package in 94? mine runs dual shocks up front and i haven;t seen a lot of others that do.
