Hello all. I recently purchased and installed a set of allegedly 2" DJM drop shackles. I received about 3/4 of an inch drop. From the center of the mounting bolt to the center of the other mounting bolt they measure 6-1/2". I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long the measurement of the Bell Tech 2" drop shackles are from mounting bolt to mounting bolt? Thanks in advance.

 

1st off. welcome to the site

anyway, have you driven your truck since the drop? after i dropped mine, i measured and got only 1" drop. drove it around the block a couple times and got another 1/2". Remeasured a few days later after i driven it a bit more and noticed another 1/4" so now i'm at 1 3/4" total which is perfect for me cuz the back is now 1/4" higher than the front. I used belltech, but from guys who used the djm said the same thing. hope this helps

 

I put the belltech shackles on mine and could hardly tell a difference.

Going with 3"4" or 2"4" now.

 

Thank you for the replies but what I really want to know is the length of the Belltech shackle from the center of the mounting bolt to the other. If it is longer then the DJM shackle then I will replace my DJM shackles with the Belltech shackles. Could someone please measure their Belltech shackle? Thanks.

 

i dont know the exact measuments but no the are virtually the same length.

 

Belltech's site claims their shackles lower the truck one inch.

They say four inches with hangers/shackles.
I really like how the DJM stuff looks compared to the Belltech.
