Edelbrocks or Rancho Prices

What is the best recent price for the Ede's, RSX and the 9K you have found? And where did you find them?

Thanks for the help!

Rancho Shocks

Go to 4wheelparts.com, this is the best place I can find for Rancho RS9000 or RSX shocks. Hope it helps...Here is a pic of my truck, I only have RS5000 but plan to upgrade to RS9000's soon.

Best prices I found on the RS9000s (when a buy 3 get 1 free wasn't going on) was at HotRod Offroad. However, they have gone up considerably since I got mine from them. [They were $52.95 + shipping each, now $70.00]

I don't know how often they have the buy 3 get 1 free - I have seen it a couple of times. Seems like maybe they run it once a year. I bought my last RS9000s from Sam's Offroad when they had the special on - all 4 were less than $200 delivered, so their regular price may be pretty decent. However, I was less than happy with how long it took my order to arrive.

As far as my '00 goes - I was run off the road by an 18 wheeler and rolled and/or flipped it (witness statements conflict). No one was seriously injured thankfully.

I have a 6 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift. I currently have 38 inch thornbird, but I am looking at going with 36's. In regards to the shock you can normally find all four RS9000's for about $249.99

I bought mine from four-wheel parts but made them price match desert rat! They have 'em for $279.99 + free shipping. Not a bad price for great shocks!

They have a $25 back on a set of four Rancho RSX shocks through October. Get your best price then print the rebate form from their website (if you want the RSX).

Earlier this year I put the Edelbrock IAS on my 99 Lariat 4x4. At first they road great, after about 2 months, they sucked just as bad as the stock ones. If I had kept the boxes I would have sent them back. I strongly advise against them, My brother installed Ranchos, much better, even after a few months.

TonyJ, what happened with your Edelbrocks? Did they get stiff after two months, soft, or what? You are the first person I have ever heard bag on the IAS's that bad. Just trying to figure out why because that's the one's I was going to get.

Edelbrocks

I have the Edelbrocks now for over 30k miles and I have been totally impressed with them. They are as tight and controlling as they were the day I bought them. Great shocks, hard to imagine better.
