05 f150 7 lug lift help.

I've got a 05 f150 with 7 lugs and looking for a 4 to 6 inch lift kit but some kits say they won't fit the HD 7 lug f150. Was wondering if anyone has had any luck find a lift kit.

Can't say for sure that this applies to the 04-08's as well but I know a lot of people with the 97-03 7 lugs got the same response when looking for lift kits and the lift kits still worked fine.

Thanks for the input. Supposedly a pro comp 6 inch lift fits. I got it ordered and hopefully all goes well with the install.

Hey Andrew - I had to register here just to specifically ask you if that lift worked on your truck. Curiosity is killing me over here! Same truck, same problem. Love it if you'd come back and tell us (me) what you found out!

Lift

I had called around to every lift company possible. No one knew if it would fit or either thought I was and idiot and didn't know what I had. So I went ahead and took the chance and bought a 6 inch pro comp lift and it went on smoothly with no problems. I looked and looked to see why that some companies say they don't fit and went to ford's website and cross referenced part numbers for the front end on a regular f150 and a 7 lug f150 and the only thing that I found different was the lower control arms were a different part number. Hope this helps you out any more questions feel free to ask. Here's before and after pictures. Running 35x12.50x17 nitto mud grapplers

Im not usually a fan of lifted trucks, but that came out well. The long bed and the XL black and gray coloring works well with the wheels and the fender flares.

lift

One more question if you don't mind: I was looking at these pro comp kits - which package did you go with? Was a little surprised that they wanted an extra grand for the mx option, which looks to me only eliminates the front strut spacers by adding two longer quick struts.
