Easy decision - get the UCA - Moog Problem Solver.

Yep.

Those are the ones.

FWIW - being an opportunist, I suggest that it may be prudent to check all BJ's, tie-rod ends, and swaybar end links for integrity.

If yer parts are originals after ~11 years it may be time fer some R&R. Yer gunna be up in there anyways ...

good luck

To reinforce what MGD said, I recommend you replace your bottom LCA bushing and BJ, because then the top will be tight and firm and the bottom loose. In my opinion, ball joints oughta be done in pairs. I hope you understand what I am saying, I cannot seem to find an analogy for comparison.

Sure. As long as you are certain those lower bushings aren't worn, like the uppers apparently are.

Check e'er'ting - as this is one job you don't want to have to revisit.

I am rebuilding the front end on my '03 FX4, using the Moog upper control arm, energy suspension polyurethane bushing kit to go with it and lower arm, and ball joint for lower.......

So I had the UCA changed and lower ball joints I no longer have any more squeaks or play in her. Although I do need to replace my struts now because one has a crack that my mechanic found
