Here's another thread on the same thing:

http://www.f150forum.com/f2/anybody-...ng-bed-146601/

There's a regular cab short bed XL with a 6" lift that parks behind the metal shop on campus I could take pics of.

And then of course Google has lots of pics:

thanks for the link, the white truck in that thread is my truck exactly (except the fender flares) but that is the only picture i can seem to find. can't tell if those are 33s or 35s on there either? what few pictures i do find all seem to be the 2wd short bed xl's which i think sit different than the 4x4

Those tires look like 33s on 17s to me, and it looks like a 2WD. 2WDs look the same, except 2" shorter.

33s is what i was thinking he had, couldnt tell if those flares were playing tricks on my eyes or not. so the 2WD don't sit any differently than the 4x4 with a lift? i was told the 2WD sit slightly lower

I just said in my last post that they're 2" lower haha but I wasn't sure what you were wondering about as far as "how they sit" so I assumed it was height related. It's hard to tell when the wheels are smaller too. With 20s, I can usually tell how big the tire is. I'd know cause I've compared my 2WD to 4x4s way too many times. Mine's at 8" of lift and it does sit right right about where a 4x4 does with 6".

Thank you for your service by the way Saw you talk about returning from the sandy hell in another thread.

I should've just said lower so there wasn't any confusion. I look forward to getting all of you guys back and wish they'd stop sending you all over the place! This forum is great and has such a vast amount of info. It's helped me a lot, so I just like giving back when I can.
