Rancho Quick Lift & Shock Settings
Hey guys, just wondering which setting you guys are running on your Rancho's?
I just got the Rancho QuickLifts and the RS9000XL Series Shock since my truck is due for new shocks and the front driver side coil snapped recently.
I'm getting them installed tomorrow since I don't have the tools/time as of right now to do them myself.
Which setting are you running on your front/rear? Do you change it up when you are about to tow a 4k + loaded trailer?
Also, how much height did they end up giving your truck in the front?
Also, for those of you that had yours installed by somewhere else, what did it cost you? I've called around and seems that 4 Wheel Parts and nearest Ford dealer are my lowest price options that I have called to.
4 Wheel Parts = $360 or $390 if they need the alignment key.
Ford Dealer = $383.02 for install and alignment (plus I would get 5% Ford Reward Dollars back)
And I ended up getting the QuickLifts and RS9000XL shocks for a pretty good price, even though I missed the Rancho rebate.
Through 4WheelParts for $517 shipped. (QuickLifts = $159 each and RS900XL = $82 each)

I've got the QL and 9000XL. You can look online for the best settings for towing, highway, etc. For daily driving I have the front at 7 and the rear at 6. I like mine a little stiff. Below 5 seems really bouncy to me. For both the 2wd and 4wd QL I think they both 1/4" lower than the max height they advertise but it still looks good to me. Look through my albums at the level if you need to.
It's kind of personal. Set them at five and see what you think for a couple of days of DDing it. When you tow just set the rears a little stiffer. I ran the QL Ranchos up front and the RS 9000's in the rear for a few years and Just set them at 4 up front and 5 in the rear for the majority of the time.
