-12 or -24

Ok yall I know everyone and their mom has asked this questiom and I have seen the other threads just making a new post to see if there are newer trucks. I have a 2010 xlt 4x4 screw going to level and either 20x10 with -12 or -24 offset with 33x12.50 trails. Does anyone have a similar setup with just the level?

Thanks alot guys

A -12 is quite far out, trimming is needed and a 2.5" level at least. -24 would be extremely out and will definitely rub.

I would stay with the -12 (5"backspace) instead of the -24 (4.5"backspace). With a 10" rim and a 12.5 tire the second choice will probably rub.

Even those -12s can rub on 33" muds. What's his face, guy from Oregon or Wash., red and grey two-tone 2004 screw, chrome 20x10 -12 motometal 951s . . . can't remember his name. Well anyway, his rub.

Which wheels are you looking at with the -24 offset? Ain't a whole lot of choices other than motometal. I do love how they look though, how much they stick out.

Edit: jdeacon has the -12s and pretty much the same exact set-up you'll be running if you want to know what it'll look like. I think it's got a killer stance. Google was helpful

Finestyle150 has -18 with 33x12.5s. Quite a bit of trimming for it too. I want to get -12 wheels this summer, can only imagine what I will need to trim up.

I love how his look too. Have they kept the 6x135 pattern for the 15+? Just so you're not throwing away the money on the wheels if/when you get a new truck? Your bigger tires are gonna rub a LOT more, and on that Fancy little Harley valance

I'm hoping to lift mine this summer and run -12 to -24 20x10s, and I really want to run -24s if I can find some I like. I've given up on fitting 20x12s lol

Its early, but I don't like the 2015+ yet, I want to try a move on a left over 2014 next year. But that might not even happen. Worse case scenario put them on Craigslist. Someone will scoop them up.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that but didn't think you get one. Flame blue FX4 with a 6.5 ft bed, right?

I think they're uglier'n sin, but we'll see how ugly they are to me in 2 years.

What wheels ya lookin at?

Met a local kid running 12" wides on his 2wd leveled 2.5", Rubs same amount as mine, cause the tire gets stretched. -24 looks great on a lifted truck, I would do -12. I believe its only a half inch difference anyways

Deacon's says -12 in his sig

Do you know the offset of the 12" wides? That's interesting cause I wanted 20x12 -44 with 35x13.5 on 8" of lift, which would be 6" for y'all, and I came to the conclusion that it just wasn't possible.

Think they do, in at least some wheels. Or did at some point. Either way, someone should let Deacon know if his offset isn't what he thinks it is
