Need advice (New Member)
Hey I'm brand new to this forum so ill introduce my self, I'm Anthony I have a Light Duty f250 (The dreaded 4.6 v8 Triton with 7 lugs a single cab and a long bed) its my daily driver and even though it may be a ugly betty I have plans for her.
So far just to get a picture in your mind I have 130k Miles on it, did a full tune up fluids etc etc, there's no real problems it runs strong and theres no problems engine or transmission wise on it (knock on wood) expect it rides like a school bus cause I took out my headliner and I have a daystar leveling kit so my front is pretty damn stiff. But hey its fun and it does excellent when me and my buddies go wheeling.
The only upgrades I have as follows are
Leveling kit
33 BFG Mud terr KM2s
Truck box
Air Intake
Super 44 exhaust
I plan on my next upgrade to be big which means you guessed it. A lift.
Even though I hear bad things just about every lift type I think I have my heart set on one from fabtech its a 7.5 inch lift for 2wd f150/f250ld models, but the thing is I need to be 100% sure it will go on my truck due to it being a SINGLE CAB LONG BED I just don't want to buy this kit in a couple months and find out its 1 inch off from all the mount points or something.
You can see pictures and follow me as I build my truck on instgram @anthony_mcd95

Ahh I probably should've gotten that one haha. I'm 19 and paid for a majority of mine, and all of its mods, but I know way too many with $50 trucks that came entirely from mommy and daddy.

Have you looked for a lift kit?
Nobody makes one for the LD 250. All available kits are for the HD with the solid front axle.
The front end on mine is wore out at 250K miles. I was tossing around the idea of a 4" lift. So I wrote to Rough Country asking if they felt the F-150 kit would fit. They said "no, front suspensions are different". Didn't say what the differences were.
I wrote to two other compaineis asking the same question....got no replies.
