What kind of lift to do??

I know this gets asked all the time but I am going to lift my truck (2002 xlt 2wd) so I can fit some 33s I have been looking at several lift options and i have a couple I would like some opinions on.
The first one is a 3in suspension lift kit from Rough country it comes with lift spindles blocks and new shocks all the way around for about 500$
The second is an EBay kit
Comes with 3in coil spacers 2in blocks and a 3in body lift for around 400 for a total of 6 in lift in front and 5in in the rear.
Don't know what would be the best so any opinions or info would be helpful and if your running 33s can you post some photos thanks

Are you installing yourself or paying someone?
How wide of 33's do you want to run?
What wheels will you be using?
Are you going for a level look or want to maintain the factory rake?

Out of those two options you just posted up, only the spindles will really work without needing to buy more.

The second kit also needs aftermarket controls arms, can't go past 2" of coil spacer or coil spring lift without them properly. Otherwise alignments won't be good, and ball joints and tie rod ends will go out often.

Here's my truck with about 6-6.5" of lift with 305/70r16 (33x12.50ish) Nitto Mud Grapplers.

I'm want a level look
Tires will be 285/75/16
Wheels are from discount tire 16x8 and they don't specify an offset

What model wheels are they?

Are you on a budget?

How much lift do you want? Just enough, room to flex, etc?

Depending on the wheel backspacing/offset, you could go with a 2" leveling kit and most likely clear them fine, or go with the spindle kit and again be okay. If your shocks are still good, then I'd look for a kit without them. Spindles use factory length shocks, and a 2" level should be okay with factory length shocks. A body lift is another option, more labor intensive, but it means you won't need an alignment, however it'll leave you with the factory rake.

A couple other things to remember are spindles will widen the front track width 1.5" per side.

Also depending on how many miles you have on the current ball joints and tie rod ends, if you go with a leveling kit or spindles now would be a great time to replace them. There's the chance that they'll get damaged during the install anyways. And it saves you having to tear down the front end twice and getting another alignment.

If your entire front end is stock, this would be a great time to rebuilt it too. If you have it partially disassembled, you may as well replace the ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.

I plan on rebuilding and yesterday I found a kit on eBay that includes 3.5in spindles 2in coil spacers and a 4in block can I do this lift with the stock rear shocks or do I need bigger shocks? Thank you in advance.

You'll need longer shocks, and that'll leave you with a little bit of rake.
