How to make a 2wd sit as high as a stock 4wd?

I did exactly this. 2" level up front and 2" block in the rear. I check and compare heights with 4x4s all the time and they're always within +/-1/2" depending on how big their tires are. My tires are 33.0" tall.
You can check mine out to see how it is. 2006 2wd XLT screw, so almost exactly the same as yours! It helps me pull off my silly FX4 decals better

How do you figure you're an inch higher? I'm not accusing, just curious. Because your rear should be exactly as tall and the front should be slightly lower. I wish what I did made mine taller than a stock 4wd! Haha

4WD coils are 1" taller (perch mount difference). My AS 1.5 gave the front end about 1 7/8". The rear, who knows. I have the stock block installed and still have about 1.5" of rake and a heavy 250 lb. cap on the back.
As a side note - I would have done the 2" but didn't want the crazy angles on the front end and glad I decided on the 1.5" Not looking to be huge tall because I think that would necessitate larger diameter tires (which would look good but I don't want to regear). Just don't like the nose down look on any full size truck, 2 or 4WD.

The 4wd coils themselves might be 1" taller, but the trucks have all been 2-2.5" taller when I've measured. I've done a lot of it cause I wouldn't have such a strong urge for a lift if the 2wds were the same height stock! Pisses me off every day I love how 4wds with a level and 3" block look and would be able to do a lot of things I want to do if I had the height.
I went with the 2" over the 2.5" for the same reason, but that 1.5" is probably that much better. I'd love to regear though and would do 4.10s or 4.30s soon if I wasn't planning on having to do it again down the road. One pumpkin is better than doing two, that's for sure! It would certainly help a lot with me not driving it so hard.
