Bounce after new shocks

Bounce after new shocks
I replaced my passenger side tie rod, ball joints, and shocks all the way around on my 94 F-150 4*4. The shocks are Ranchos 5000s. After the work was done and I thought everything would be fabulous, but then I got on I-5 (between Tacoma and Seattle, WA). The front of my truck bounced so much you could see it and I was almost sick. Any ideas what could be causing the bounce? Will they "break in"?

Yes, my shocks are installed correctly.
How would I know the stiffness of my springs/what shocks I should have? I was told my truck has a leveling kit, but it was put on by one of the previous owners, so I don't detailed information.
I'm getting that sinking feeling that I wasted perfectly good money buying them and will have to go to a supension shop.
Any ideas?

maybe they installed hydros? I mean thats what I would assume anyway. I'd probably rock it for a while too! but in reality, what happens is if your coils dont have pressure pushing them down they will just bounce. think slinky hanging in mid air. take your shocks out of the rear springs and just rock it like that to see what I mean. its fun and goofy at the same time ha. dont ask me how I know that.. breaking them in would be more of a stiffness thing. check the shocks themselves. Idk what they are but if they have nitrogen or some sort of compressed air then they might have been shipped without that in them therefore you need to add it.

So I've been in contact with Rancho and they think the 5000 series (see 1st post)shocks on my 94 (see 1st post) are the wrong ones for my application. I have 5029's on the front, which are for stock height, but I have a leveling kit. Now I just have to figure out how much height was added during the leveling process and hopeful just a model number switch will work. *fingers crossed*
